Butterbabe - Rebecca Golden

This has the ability to remind us that if you look at an obese person and decide without talking to the indidividual they are a bad person because they are fat proves that behind the weight is someone who has a heart. This is someone who could has a reason why they have chose to harm their body through food.
Rebecca had to put up with so much crap from people, definitely something I can re;ate to Rebecca's story, the stares. I only have a walking stick and the amount of people that stare - not used to seeing a young person with a walking stick and what is even worse is if I decide to feel a bit like a 'lady' I put on heels and the stares get even worse.

I couldn't put this down, so snuggled up wih my Poodle as I too felt the emotions with Rebecca on her journey.

I was really dissappointed to know that so many people judged Rebecca before getting to know her, but her strentgh of character got her through these times.

Snow White

An exciting and interesting adaption of Snow White. Following the usual foundations of the storyline the film throws in it own slant. This version defnitely catches your attention and the Queen is superb, and she is involved in some creepy moments such as the talking mirror and turning Monday in stone. the Queen's brother is quite a dark character - he grants the wishes. And another rather scarey moment when the gnoes go in for the kill!!
The dwarfs were named days of the week; I rather liked Wednesday.

Strange story really - a woman who wants to be the most beautiful woman and is willing to kill for it. Yikes, that is scarey. 

Shoot The Damn Dog - Sally Brampton

A very interesting account of someone suffering depression. The book delves into the depths of Sally's mind and reaches her darkest moments. For Non-sufferers  of drpression sally offers an insight into the experiences that someone can go through mentally, physcally and even the addictions.
Sally show depression is a deep dark spiral which can keep spinning out of control until the suffererer finds anyway to make it stop however self-destructive that may be.he word Depression can beused so lightly, but it is an illness which affects the individual in so many ways.

This book could be beneficial for those who are dealing with family or friends who are currently suffering with depression - helping to decide how to handle situations, what to say.

The main thing that sticks out is someone suffering with depression needs a support network, Do not walk away and let them suffer alone.

And I think everyone will spot themelves somewhere among the pages.
